The area known locally as Dooks Mountain, just three Km from the ring of Kerry and within 15 min drive from the gateway to Dingle Peninsula.
Our newly built large spacious four bedroom house for self catering holidays, sleeps eight plus cot facility (on request), The perfect location for all your holiday activities: Golf (Dooks, Killorglin, Beaufort, Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Ross, Waterville and Ballybunion Golf clubs), Fishing (Deep Sea fishing, shore fishing, game fishing and coarse fishing), Hill walking (The Kerry Way is the longest "way marked trail" in Ireland. The circuit is approximately 215km long), Sightseeing (Ring of Kerry and the Dingle way), Beaches (Rossbeigh, Cromane and Dooks) and much more.
The Holiday home / cottage is located on an elevated site, surrounded by panoramic views of Dingle Peninsula and its mountains, the Great Blasket Islands, Dingle Bay and views of the nearby lake that lies just a 500 meters below the house. in a beautiful peaceful location, within easy commuting distance to local villages and towns.
Cromane fishing village famous for it's mussels just 2 miles. So after a long day having fun with your favourite past time whatever that may be, you can unwind and take in the breath taking views from the comfort of your armchair.
The Ring Of Kerry (2 miles)
The Ring of Kerry takes in part of South Kerry, and it affords a panoramic journey through some of Kerry's most outstanding scenery around the Iveragh peninsula. The route travels through Killorglin, by Caragh Lake, and on to Glenbeigh where one gets the first view of the Atlantic at Rossbeigh. The journey then continues along the southern shores of Dingle Bay to Kells, and south to Cahersiveen, where Valentia Island comes into view. The Skellig Experience Centre is located here and Ballinskelligs is not far away. Onwards to Waterville and along the coast via the Coomakista Pass and Derrynane to Sneem. From there, along Kenmare Bay to Kenmare town. The route then goes to Killarney via Moll's Gap and Ladies View which give superb views of the Lakes.
